We are now looking for a Mechanical Designer for our client in Huskvarna, with an interest in production development, hardware, and mechanics. Here you will have the opportunity to influence the development of advanced technical systems in an innovative environment.

About the role / tasks In the role of Mechanical Designer, you will be part of a mechanics team responsible for the development and further development of products in several product areas. You will work broadly with both development and maintenance of hardware solutions.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with development and production teams, focusing on design, functionality, and manufacturability. You will participate in R&D projects as well as customer-related assignments and contribute to developing new solutions as needs change.

Together with experienced colleagues, you will work to ensure that the products meet established functional and environmental requirements. The tasks include, among others:

• Detail design
• Fault investigations
• Process development
• Verification of systems, both internally and with customers when needed

There is great scope for personal responsibility, initiative, and creativity. You are also expected to contribute to improvements in working methods and processes.

You who are applying:

• Have a university degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent relevant education/experience
• Have experience in mechanical design
• Have worked in a CAD environment
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your deliveries
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing

Meritorious

• Experience in design for machining, castings, plastic parts, and sheet metal processing
• Experience with Siemens NX or similar CAD systems
• Experience working close to production or in development-intensive environments

Your employment The position means that you will be employed by Jefferson Wells, but you will spend your working days at our client's site. This is a consulting assignment lasting approximately 12 months. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays during the day and are full-time.
